How to Apply: 1/64 Waterslide Decals

Follow these simple steps for a professional, factory-look finish on your custom diecast:

1. Preparation: Trim the desired decal as closely as possible to the graphics using sharp hobby scissors or a craft knife.

2. Soaking: Submerge the decal in lukewarm water for 10–20 seconds until the backing paper starts to slide off easily.

3. Application: Wet the surface of the car model with a drop of water. Gently slide the decal from the paper onto the model using tweezers or a soft brush.

4. Positioning: Adjust the position while the surface is still wet. Use a cotton swab (Q-tip) to gently dab away excess water and trap air bubbles.

5. Setting (Optional): For curved surfaces or panel lines, use a Decal Setter/Softener (like Micro Sol) to help the decal "melt" perfectly into the details.

6. Protection: Once completely dry (approx. 24 hours), apply a clear coat (varnish) to seal the decal and protect it from scratches.
